i wouldn't be a total glenn youngkin hater if i didn't mention that the results tonight mean that his total tenure amounted to presiding over the destruction — at least for the next few years — of the virginia republican party. lmao.

I am just going to keep posting that the TX governor recently pardoned a political murderer. The dude texted "I'm going to shoot protestors", then went and shot a Black Lives Matter protester. He was convicted in a jury trial. Hard to find a more blatant example of celebrating political violence.

There are multiple Constitutional crises that justify a government shutdown to check the executive. Instead of picking fights on any of these grounds, Democrats intend to try to extract arcane policy concessions using Tea Party tactics. Breathtaking fecklessness from an unfit leadership.

a legitimate defense of "personal liberty" would be calling for Maryland's state police to use force to protect Kilmar Abrego Garcia from deportation. a legitimate defense of "free markets" would call Trump's theft of 10% of Intel the robbery it is.

Rule of law and respect for the Constitution are dead. When this administration is ousted, return to constitutional norms demands the people who have decreed your rights are forfeit *must* have their rights forfeited in return. They have sown the wind, let them reap the whirlwind.
