We can look back to comments prior to Storm Chandra, to the likes of Babet, Éowyn, Ophelia etc. and for him to say in October that certain projects wouldn't go ahead because they'd be polarising? This is only going to get costlier. For Ministers to call out Met Éireann is farcical

The govt are thrilled whenever people fall for misdirection & fail to point the finger at who's actually responsible for repeated failures: the govt. Was disappointing to hear a flood victim say "they care more about the snails than us" last night on the news. More distraction & unfair blame.

Every “innovation” in late-stage capitalism seems to take products that we could once buy and own and turn them into a rental or subscription service. It’s a money-making racket that no one asked for. Except shareholders.

Did X lie to the government? Are government trying to distract? We need actual action! The Minister had assured us that X can no longer be used for 'nudification' purposes in Ireland or anywhere else. However, I informed the Minister that this was simply NOT true.

1/2 I have made it clear to the people around me, FOR YEARS, that is do not ever want another man in my life. And I have good reason. So, I don't think its unreasonable that I'm pissed off to discover someone secretly tried to 'set me up'. This is incredibly disrespectful...

Reminds me of a very similar bit of training female members of the British secret service were given during WW2: "Don't ask a man who works for their government what's happening. Confidently tell him something you know to be inaccurate, and he will be forced to correct you".

This exact thing happened to me on Friday. Male caller offering me a better rate on my contract (which set off my spidey senses as I’d only just changed my contract). A text message came through from my carrier at the same time with an access code. I cut the call off but quite a sophisticated scam.

The code scam. There seems to be a load of scams at the moment which send you a code from a legitimate service (your phone provider, your bank etc) and the scammer needs that code. Do not read out codes! Heard so many of them recently

A man told me yesterday that it was important to "take emotion out of the equation“ when analysing the situation in the US, at which point I told him very calmly that "a woman who disagrees with you is not necessarily emotional". Ladies, it was a breakthrough. I should have done this years ago.

Ireland people! Trying to get someone to look at a dripping tap. The people I have found want 150 upfront before they will even make an appt. This, of course, won't cover any parts required. Is this normal? I got them through the management company so, they are legit. I just never heard this before?
