When the Nazi’s sent Jewish people to Auschwitz - many of them hid their jewellery in the bottom of suitcases and into the lining of their coats. When they entered the camps- the Nazis stole it all. The Labour Party has totally lost its moral compass.

Confiscating jewellery from survivors of a war zone makes you look like a fucking Nazi. And the obscene thing is, that is the intention. It's there to look appropriately harsh. Indecent. Filthy. A moral stain. And no-one of good character would have ever proposed such a thing in the first place.

I detest it when brown skinned politicians use their own experience as a brown person to justify some awful policy. They don’t speak on behalf of all brown ppl any more than a far right woman speaks on behalf of all women by virtue of their gender.
