Starmer supporters saying ‘if you don’t like what Starmer and his great team are doing you can walk’ It’s breathtaking. That’s exactly what Starmer said and that’s exactly what people did in their droves. They turned to the Greens and in doing so gave seats to Reform. They sound like the Corbyn cult

It must be music to Farage’s ears when Starmer says he won’t change Labours immigration policies. He’ll know it’ll drive away loads of core Labour to the Greens & he’ll be rubbing his hands as it’ll let Reform through the door. Starmer has to go

I really hope Labour back benchers get rid of Starmer. He’s obviously not going to change tack on the things that count- especially their vile immigration policies If he won’t change and won’t stand down they need to kick him out.

So Bridgette Phillipson says the Government will not back down on Shabana Mahmoods immigration Policies. They will ignore the 100+ back benches that oppose them and the decent Labour voters that turned to the Greens partly as a result of them. Starmer is not listening. Frankly it’s disgusting.

Starmer says he’s going to set out his values! If almost 2 years into being PM and 6 years into being Labour Party leader you’re having to do this there is something desperately wrong. And there lies the problem.

I suspect that after Starmer does his speech on Monday - everything will go very quiet. We will be into summer recess before you know it so he will just keep a low profile and dig in deeper

I saw three couples interview about why they voted Reform. One couple said ‘just want change’ Second lot ‘to end immigration’ Third couple so rambling I’ve no idea what they said other than ‘I just don’t know - Something- something’ It’s so depressing

If Starmer digs in and stays, he must sack Shabana Mahmood and bring in PR. If he doesn’t sack her you’ll know he’s not listened at all and if he doesn’t introduce PR we are all f#cked anyway.

Instead of appointing new people to his Government - why doesn’t he sack Shabana Mahmood. She’s truly awful and I’m betting one of the main reasons people turned away from Labour. If she doesn’t go- You’ll know he hasn’t really listened.

By refusing to stand down - Starmer is basically saying ‘I know best’ and you the voters are wrong.🤷‍♀️

So Labour have now lost Wales and Scotland How bad does it need to get before Starmer takes responsibility and stands down.

It’s all very well Starmer insisting he won’t stand down. He’s not an immigrant. He doesn’t have to worry about being rounded up and put in a detention camp. Time he put others first - instead of himself. It takes a courage to face your shortcomings- it takes arrogance to ignore them.

Starmer is right when he says ‘voters sent a message’. Problem is he’s not hearing it. Time his MP’s make him listen and tell him to stand down and re elect a new leader in an orderly fashion.

It’s just the most depressing thing to think of Labours massive majority being destroyed in less than 2 years.

Labour MP’s need to pressurise Starmer to go now or say goodbye to their seats for years- probably longer. Elect a new leader in an orderly manner and make sure they support PR and much closer alignment or re joining the EU. Do it now.

Whether or not you support Starmer or not -Labour will lose the next GE if he stays. There is no way he can win over the public at this stage. He’s disliked and that won’t change. If Labour are to stand a chance at the next election it needs a new leader, PR and bigger steps to align with the EU.

Just wait for all the Reform councils to go to pot. There’ll be racist and homophobic face book posts uncovered. There’ll be public and unseemly spats. There’ll be conspiracy theorists turning up blabbing on about chemtrails and vaccines. Just wait. It’ll happen.

Hilary Benn talking about socialism and why it’s difficult to be in Government. And there lies the problem. Starmer is not a socialist. He’s a social democrat. I can’t believe that Hilary Benn (of all people) thinks the current Labour Party is socialist.

All Labour had to do was deliver some slightly left wing policies that would benefit the majority of people and give hope for the future Instead they have tried to attract Reform voters and in doing so have driven many of their core voters to the Greens whilst failing to attract the right. It’s grim

When Labours very own Suella Braverman- Shabana Mahmood told ‘white liberals’ to ‘fuck off’- they did just that. And they voted Green which let in Reform. Thats what happens when you try to attract Reform voters. You piss off decent Labour voters.

Starmer says he’ll hang on. If he does he must do two things. Bring in PR and stop trying to appease Reform. For starters sack Shabana Mahmood
