I'm trying to write up some information on dealing with an ICE invasion that's applicable in other states. In Minnesota, there are trainings for people to become constitutional observers. I'm not sure this exists everywhere else. Is there a virtual training people can do, or a video I can recommend?

After ICE agents shot people in Minneapolis tonight, a crowd faced them down and eventually chased them away, despite federal mercenaries and police shooting a tremendous amount of tear gas. ICE agents abandoned vehicles in the area, containing IDs, paperwork, license plates, and operational plans.

I wish people would stop trying to remind Minnesotans to be peaceful; We're not violent people, the only aggression we have is passive.

Right now the strategy of the Governor, Mayor, and really the DFL writ large is to AVOID the conflict, and avoid escalation. But that misreads the attention economy, as Democrats always due. They need to MAKE A SCENE AND MAKE A TV SHOW. Make them arrest priests, rabbis and the mayor.

I hate to say this, but someone of higher profile is going to need to end up in custody trying to stop this. MPD needs to pull over ICE vehicles with flipped plates; O'Hara may end up at Whipple, but that advances the cause. Make them arrest the Governor or Mayor.
