A few weeks back, there was this good article in Racket about doing a LRT doubleheader with Twins/Saints. Saturday is another opportunity with Twins at 1:10/Saints at 6:35.
@snackeru.bsky.social
and I will be doing this doublebill. HMU if interested or going to the games. Weather looks perfect.

It's not the 1920s anymore—and our streetcars are long gone—but you can still ride the Light Rail between a Twins and Saints game this season.

I know the team stinks, but with overlapping promotions, you can go to the Twins game on Friday for $10 a ticket, get beers and hot dogs for $2 a pop before the game starts, and stay for fireworks afterwards. A fun date for like $30 for two!

This is the logo for Minnesota Underwater Hockey Club, which has been "playing underwater hockey since 1975." Their waiver requires players agree that: "Life-sustaining air, without which UWH players cannot survive, does not exist at the pool bottom where the puck is located and play occurs."

Then there was the Minneapolis Loons from the North Central League in 1994. Lasted 2 seasons, I think? Greg Olson was the manager. Not the best look at the logo but couldn’t find much better.
