In hindsight, that’s one hell of a question posed by the Minnesota Daily in 1968.

For years, GOP has been campaigning against cities, rooting against their success, accusing their residents of not being “real Americans,” lying about their crime rates, denigrating their diversity. The campaign’s is logical conclusion: the GOP uses the federal government to attack those cities.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but when the Hennepin County Government Center in downtown Minneapolis was built 50 years ago at a cost of $83.8 million, they saved $375 by removing a planned bike rack from the design.
