Anyway. This whole mess of a winter is a hollering example of why the arts and humanities are important and deserve support. Every arts and humanities student ever asked "what are you going to do with that?" Can say "I'm going to help save my neighbors" and it can be true, if they want.

I know people are very aware that the most essential stories are underrepresented now. For good and smart reasons we hear less directly from people most at risk of ICE attention. I hope some time in the near future our collective accounts of this time can include those missing accounts.

I spent $600 of Norm Nation funds to help cover food and drinks. I also spent $150 on flowers, to recognize some of the moms who have been sacrificing so much of their time and energy coordinating the mutual aid efforts at the preschool. You all helped make sure they, literally, got their flowers.
