Hundreds of people gathered at a vigil for Alex Pretti organized by a coalition of labor unions just outside of the Minneapolis V.A. Medical Center on Sunday evening. Pretti, 37, of Minneapolis, was shot and killed by Customs and Border Protection agents on January 24.

Finally got to see the butter ball drop after all these years! Butter Bakery owner Daniel Swenson-Klatt holds a ball of butter with chocolate chips spelling out “2026” tied to a string outside his cafe. Butter Bakery closes December 31 after 20 years in business.
