Belugas have landed in the land of 10,000 lakes! The first of 73 new buses have entered service. Many features associated with the BRT buses, including the fat bike racks, Stop Request tape, USB and C-chargers, and vinyl seat inserts. The Stop Request signs scroll slower and have a different font.

You know what would be cool? The ability to connect your library account with the library account of people you know (a la social media) and recommend books for them. I don’t know if such a thing exist anywhere?

Heard some kids exclaim about the new seating material on the D Line. The 8200s have entered service. One each on the C, D, Orange and Gold.

Update: for those who want to partake but not get stranded at Lake and France, Metro Transit will allow any riders onboard to remain onboard as it pulls in. The bus will pull into Nicollet Garage, located at 32nd/Nicollet, once it completes its final run.

Some of you all may know the 21 will make its final run Sat morning. I’m gonna try to be on that if you want to join me? DM me if you plan to come so I can get a head count. Including if you plan to be at Union Depot to see the bus off.
