My review of the new Taylor Swift album: I eagerly pressed play on "Eldest Daughter" (I am one) and turned it off before the chorus because it was about online comments. Eldest daughters are too busy to care about online comments so not sure what that was about.

I had a dream this morning that included someone door knocking for Sen. Omar Fateh for mayor.

I largely "failed" a #weekwithoutdriving but replaced many trips with biking and busing. The times I did drive it was b/c of heat with biking and busing taking triple the time to drive (the usual reasons I now drive).

I love Halloween decor.

I only got through some of this book before I had to return it to the library (long list of people wanting to borrow it). The small bit I read helped me see how I can cover police-related stories differently. I suggest reporters and editors read this book. Challenge yourself.
