Typist.
Library, then local store, then online if I need it now. I rarely need it now. Library almost always has it but needs to get it to a local branch. Can’t remember the last time I bought online.

Hey cis people! Your cis friends, family, & colleagues are constantly being bombarded with transphobic lies. Republicans are even running fearmongering ads during sports games. No one listens to us, but they might listen to you. So do me a favor and share this.

Periodic reminder: What you see on social media is an algorithm-curated echo chamber. Those who shout loudest typically get amplified the most, regardless of whether they’re right. The real work takes place offline. If you’re getting stressed out by today, take a break, focus on what you can do.

Scraper accounts seem to be on the rise, so here's a list if you want to block them all. Feel free to report suspicious accounts to me, but do NOT tag/quote them. If they're alerted to my presence and block me in advance, I can't do anything (at least with bsky interface).

If you're enjoying your time on BlueSky and it's working out for you, please consider hyping it up in front of your mates, but do encourage them to use
goodfeeds.co
or to dig through the people you follow to help ensure their app doesn't look dead because there's not much education on that.

i was working in employment law when companies started requiring return to office, and my impression is that it was largely the result of groupthink among CEOs. a few of them decided it was the move, others followed suit, and that was that. there was no data or analysis, they just wanted to do it.

On the bright side, assuming the Coalition stick to their guns, they won't be spending any money on consultants and engineers before starting to dig the lengthy road tunnel along a fault line in an earthquake zone near the coast. That'll keep the initial costs down.
