Took the NE Regional up to New York and the Acela back and… yes, the Acela was 30 minutes faster, but damn it is bright as fuck on that train and you sure fooled me if that was a more comfortable ride and/or seat. Gimme the cheap old regional train any day.

On my way back to DC after a lovely weekend in New York spent largely kicking around Chelsea and the Village. Amazing what they’ve done to NYC since I lived there 25 years ago - it is a beautiful, vibrant, city. Saw some shows, ate some stuff, walked a ton, and even sat on a fake beach. Great time.

Buccaneers and Patriots could just go back to using their superior old uniforms all the time. No one would be upset.
