Rep. Rosa DeLauro, top Dem on the House appropriations panel, says DHS is *choosing* not to pay TSA workers while paying its other employees. She says: 85% of ICE + CBP are being paid 75% of Secret Service 0% of TSA workers "The Department made that decision," DeLauro says on the House floor.

“It’s not just the jobs that are lost. It’s the fact that emotionally, + for the kids, people suffer a deep, deep loss,” he said. “The idea that people can simply make that decision ... to make more money, they can blackmail one community against another for more tax breaks ... is not acceptable.”
