FWIW I feel like I've seen a dramatic reduction in on-scene ICE video and a big uptick in what I'd describe as "typical protest activity" over the last week.

More video of stops where federal agents aim pistols at people. I spend a considerable amount of time at the shooting range. And I'm a stickler for safety procedures. You only aim at a target you're willing to shoot. Basic NRA rules.

I of course agree with all of this, and have been banging this drum for years. The disconnect here is that this administration doesn't want to turn down the temperature. They want to intimidate, terrorize, and punish. The masks, camouflage, and BDUs are inseparable from that.

I found a Fox News interview from August 2025 where Border Czar Tom Homan acknowledges that ICE needs a judicial warrant to perform a search of private property -- contrary to an ICE memo that says agents only need an administrative warrant. Curious what he believes now.
