So since we all had more or less the same day let's talk about the stress response cycle! The most basic thing is each stress response stays in your body until you complete the cycle, and you can do that in a variety of ways, but you gotta release them all. Not all at once, but one by one.

This is haunting. More from yesterday's solar eclipse viewed by the Artemis II crew. The Sun's corona is faintly visible emerging from behind the Moon. And, at lower left, Venus.

FYI if you’re talking about the

II mission and you want to get the spaceflight terminology right, the mission is “crewed,” not “manned.” (NASA made the terminology change official decades ago, so this isn’t new, but a lot of folks just aren’t aware.)

i think we should be clear that just because the astronauts did not immediately declare the moon haunted, does not mean it is not haunted it may mean that the astronauts are now themselves haunted have we prepared for this eventuality and if so how

The Artemis II mission seems good because it is. People seem excited by it because they are. It looks like a testament to the value of teamwork because it needs many people working together to succeed, and it’s succeeding. One of the best things about this is how straightforward it is. Authentic.

Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

Glad people liked! For context, NASA pics of the Moon from four sides: Top Left: "Nearside" always faces Earth (us) Bottom L: "Farside" always faces *away* Bottom Right: "West" half near, half far, roughly what the Artemis crew will see in sunlight Top R: "East" will be in darkness

Roughly, left of the dark area is part of the far side of the Moon, not seen from Earth. The big round feature is the Orientale impact basin, the Moons youngest. That area was in darkness for all the Apollo flights so the Integrity crew are the first humans to see it with their own eyes
