None of this is wrong. It's also not very difficult to grasp if you don't have your head in the sand, or are so wedded to the establishment that you recoil at such thoughts.

Really hard to overstate the earthquake of Mamdani going 3-3 tonight. Shows his popularity is transferrable in NYC. Makes people less likely to oppose him, including City Council. Some well known NY Dems are considering retirement over reelection tonight.

I want to point out that Ossoff says this almost the exact same way. And I point that out because it's important to show that someone does not have to be far to the left to say this or mean it. I argue constantly that it should be a top point the Dem party adopts.

I've been on this forever, and it's great to see people with a megaphone like Krugman pick it up. Corruption and special interest money is the original sin and people know it. They know it's why stuff doesn't get done and costs are high and the wage gap is the Grand Canyon. Ossoff says it too.
