Found myself under a dark moonless sky at Moundville Archaeological Park with fog billowing around and two comets above. Sounds like the opening of a novel, but in reality it was much less creepy than it sounds. We had telescopes and good conversation; I’m glad I managed to get out there! 🔭🧪
