Why do raptors and other species need the EPA? 🦉 Rat poisons are found in many species that aren't their target. The EPA is required to regulate pesticides, and has banned for consumer use longer-lasting rat poisons, keeping raptors and other species safer.

Why do Florida manatees need the EPA? 👀 The EPA administers the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program to combat harmful nutrient pollution in important manatee habitat. Without programs like these, wildlife like the manatee will continue to be lost.

Not only do pronghorns have the longest land migration in the continental United States, but they also are the fastest land animal in North America. Although pronghorns are not as fast as cheetahs, they can maintain a faster speed for a longer period of time than cheetahs.
