DUST BUNNY is available on VOD today. It made my top 15, a criminally overlooked 2025 film that's part Jim Henson, part John Woo, all awesome. Mads Mikkelsen is fantastic, the action is solid, and the Monster is very cool. In the 90s or Aughts it would have been huge. See it. Buy it. Worth it.

Bush’s 2003 invasion of Iraq is what radicalized me (more). We can’t let ourselves be numb to the fact that everything is so much worse now - that’s even more of a reason to radically resist. Amelia’s got some good first steps for anyone feeling overwhelmed and helpless (relatable!!).

60% of the way through the decade, what are your fav movies? 2020 - Palm Springs 2021 - Last Night in Soho 2022 - Nope 2023 - Poor Things 2024 - Love Lies Bleeding 2025 - Superman I think? I barely researched this but feels correct.

In 2025 I started keeping track of my media in my planner. At each month’s end, I’d share those pages in my Stories, which sparked convos & recs from pals. It was a really fun hybrid of analog and digital record-keeping, and I’m excited to continue in 2026! Here are my year-end totals and faves.

Masquerade, the Phantom of the Opera immersive experience playing in NYC, has wholly undone me. I’ll be all weepy, levitating goosebumps for the rest of the year. I have turned my face away from the garish light of day. My thoughts have turned from cold unfeeling light!!!

Rob Reiner made some great movies but he was also unafraid to speak the truth, and was one of the public voices who knew you don’t squander your platform, and only got louder about opposing evil fucks as he got older. Legend.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing. All from his movies.
