Yes, Hollywood could be more diverse in its non-blockbuster slates, but horror is not 'dominating' (ie having 2 big hits simultaneously) by 'muscling out' other genres - horror as a genre has a huge, dedicated fanbase who watch/write about/enthuse about these films

Saw I LOVE BOOSTERS last night. I love that Boots Riley has no qualms about just throwing whatever interests him into a film. It's shaggy and a bit lopsided but it's also smart and hilarious and engaging and beautifully made. It all works to give the cast a platform to be funny.
