I saw MONITOR at SXSW and it was quite a delightful surprise! A small indie production with a lot of heart and an eerie virtual urban (vurban?) legend vibe. The monster is pretty simple but, man, just creepy. The biggest surprise: I came to care about the entire small ensemble of protagonists.

Very excited to see @victorlavalle.bsky.social’s novel, The Devil in Silver, coming to the screen as the new season of The Terror, with Dan Stevens leading! And Karyn Kusama (The Invitation, 2015) directs the first 2 episodes! This bodes well ⭐️
