Completed & delivered 3 pieces of new artwork to 2 clients this week, for publication; 2 were done with longtime amigo Cayetano "Cat" Garza, Jr. Can't share until the clients post the work on social media, but it's been a good way to kick off the week/month.

Decades ago, I designed, wrote, penciled this for DC Comics; inks by John Totleben, letters by John Costanza, colors by Tatjana Wood. It was assigned & completed on super-short notice; "can you summarize all you guys have done & are planning?" was the job.

One comics arena I never thought I'd ever have a tip-toe into was comic strips—but Jim Keefe made sure I could cross that off my bucket list when he invited me to jam with him on a special 'splash' panel for SALLY FORTH years ago! Our local paper carried the strip—canceled the week before this. Dang

Saw this about 3 or 4 weeks ago and almost obliterated it from memory. Except for the hilarious K-Pop parody animated bit, this was the lamest thing I've seen in a theater in 2026.

The only movie ballyhoo I find myself repeating every fucking morning of 2026 when I glimpse any news.

I only held on to some, never had all, of these; circa the late 1970s. I met and spent an overnight (as an invited guest) with Vincent Fago & family in Bethel, VT during my Kubert School years, likely late fall of 1977, I remember meeting Vince as he was sweeping autumn leaves off his porch roof.

ALL of the covers of my books—that I author and/or edit, package, and/or publish—are done by human beings. Often, me in collaboration with a paid amigo (paid by me) for color/digital production/creative jamming. To the best of my knowledge, I've never ever ever used A.I. on or in my projects.

One of my SWAMP THING covers for Rick Veitch's run. That's not airbrush, it's toothbrush-spatter (black ink plus white-out spattered over the black ink), pre-digital era, 1987.

2nd year, The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon & Graphic Art, Inc., calendar & costs; I attended fall 1976 until graduating spring 1978, so this was what (plus room & board, shared apt. in downtown Dover NJ with pal/classmate Larry Loc) it cost me, folks. Times... have changed.

"Firefly" was my title for this piece. Amigo Cat Garza Jr. did a gorgeous color rendition for publication when it was used on an academic journal on anime/manga. This week, Cat & I are collaborating on not one but two pieces for a client (CD cover); we'll share once done & delivered & accepted.

From the ol' days. This wasn't painted as a cover piece; it was a marker rough for Len Wein, for a Batman cover he wanted. This is how tight my 'roughs' were for Len. It wasn't QUITE what he was seeking, John Totleben did the job, & it still didn't QUITE satisfy Len.
