THE INCREDIBLES is the best Fantastic Four movie. I don’t necessarily agree, but I’ve heard it.

A basic problem with the X-Files is that on paper Scully should be the smart one, but in the show Mulder is right 100% of the time so she looks like a fucking moron

RIP to Gerry Conway, who accomplished so many things in comics, but will always have a special place in my heart for penning the first two back issues I ever bought. The wacky villains and overlapping subplots of those issues inspired my lifelong obsession with comics history.

I do believe there is such a thing as good art and bad art. But I also believe there should be a museum of toy packaging and marketing art so I can stand in front of this Masters of the Universe poster by Earl Norem and talk about its composition like it's The School of Athens

Arby’s Jungle Zoids were a Beast Wars style line from 1996. I’d never heard of them until
@adam16bit.bsky.social
discovered them last week. I like the stylized beast modes and the bright colors. The Trogdor arms on most of them aren’t good, but they’re charming.

I may have done this exercise before, but as an object lesson in how short comics history actually is (or how old I am), here's a trading card I drew for DC over a tweaked layout revised and faxed to me by Joe Orlando. So if you've worked with me, you're one degree of separation from the Golden Age.

🎶Is he strong? Listen bud He’s got radioactive blood🎶 As far as I’m concerned, those lines from his ‘60s theme song pretty much sum it up, but people have spent sixty-plus years debating HOW strong Spider-Man is. Read on for more…

I've been a fan of the Inferior Five since I was a kid. Sadly, they've had very few appearances since the 60's. I recently had the itch to draw them, so I scratched it! I put them in an "Avengers Circle"!

You'd think making Spider-Mobile's secret identity "Peter Parkedcar" was bad enough... ...but in an issue of SPIDER-MAN we established that out of all of the Spider-Beings in the entire Spider-Verse... ...he was the best Parallel Parker.

People have been talking about the Scorpion lately, inspiring this brief thread. So when you picture the Spider-Man villain the Scorpion, this is probably what you see, right? Green striped costume, mask that somehow molds to his mouth, and a stinger-tipped tail, right?

The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they traveled through the computer. Was it a big truck? That you just dump something on? Or was it a series of tubes? That could be filled?
