Pulling out boxes of comics from my closet and flipping through them, seeing the covers of books that have - in some cases - delighted me for decades, is its own unique kind of joy. It's such a visceral reaction and recall from that image to a story, and quite a buzz.

If you have a ridiculous amount of books accumulated over a lifetime (like I do), I recommend the process of going through them all, one shelf at a time, with the excuse of building a searchable database of the books you own (and their exact location) as a way to reacquaint yourself w/ them.
