Feeling pretty good about myself on my way home from Rose City when I spilled a full bag of Garrett's popcorn on the floor right where three terminals converge. I tried to sweep it up barehanded (I'm from Iowa) before a passing brother said, "Man, you gotta let that go."

Your dumb comics (no matter how dumb) can help someone through a difficult time. I got a clear and moving reminder of that in Portland from a reader I met outside of the context of the con. It's that kind of town. Don't give up. Keep making your dumb comics!
