Someone said “Apple is evil” and, well, define evil. But I trust Apple a lot for privacy matters right now. That won’t always be true, and I’m keeping a very close eye on who works there.

Over the last few years friends and colleagues have looked askance at me for using Apple instead of Android because open source or whatever. But (1) commercial Android increasingly isn’t open, and (2) tonight yet another friend noticed their OS reading Signal messages and recording keystrokes.

The only reaction I have to this is:
