Civil disobedience is refusing to obey laws/demands/orders/commands of the gov. RSVPing to a protest and potentially being a target isn’t an example. It’s just a bad tactic. I have met an absolutely gobsmacking number of white parents who have an aversion to brushing their children's hair. I don't understand why, but they really seem to think it shouldn't be their responsibility. White kids' hair gets matted too but when they have a Black kid it's a BIG problem.
