Mmmmm-hmmmm. As I suspected, "We can't stop the children from using AI so we have no choice but to teach them how to use it responsibly" really meant "YOU can't stop me from using AI".

When people talk about the "barriers to creativity" it just tells me they don't have the slightest clue what creativity is. I have friends who make gorgeous art out of trash and dead animals. I have a 12-year-old who makes the most incredible things out of stuff he digs out of the recycling.
