IMO, continuity of gov is more important than continuity of a single POTUS (who failed). Replacing Congress is much harder to do than replacing a president in an emergency. A bullet train between the Capitol and Mount Weather could do the trip in 15 minutes, end to end. That's what we need to build.

The East Wing and the bunker were built in response to Pearl Harbor, I believe. And while we were close to building "the bomb", the bunker wasn't actually designed on paper to be a nuclear shelter. That hardening is what needed updating. Its my understanding that could have been done without demo.

I think some are under the impression that Trump is "adding" a bunker. That's not the case. The bunker has been there since the East Wing was constructed (it was the "cover" for the bunker, quite literally). And the bunker needed updated, I'm sure. But it wasn't necessary to destroy the East Wing.

If Russia gets a victory in Ukraine, even an inch, and then rebuilds it's military based on what it learned in Ukraine... Europe without USA will not be able prevent Russia from taking more land and killing more Europeans. But what Europe can do right now is stand united against Trump for Ukraine.

This is a good example of why it's important to have lawyers in Congress. I think a lawyer will generally be able to review these documents and "take better notes" than doctors or most other professions. Some high quality journalists in Congress wouldn't hurt for times like this tho!

The Pima Co Sheriff has no person/ vehicle of interest in case. As I said in earlier post, that neighborhood is a suburban nightmare. Vegetation blocks any cameras neighbors may have from seeing road, etc. if you live in a place like that, you need more than just a consumer grade doorbell cam.

Personally, I recommend using their NVR as opposed to BlueIris. I think the BI software is better. But NVR is a Linux box and the main board won't get hot if you take the top of case off and pull the fan out, use SSD. That makes it quiet. You can hide in wall behind art and it'll never make noise.
