Forgot to defrost meat. The right-wing conspiracy types would be terrified at the idea but instead of driving 30 minutes or ordering take out, I took a five minute walk to the grocery store and bought some, saving my family at least $50 by living in a walkable neighbourhood. 15 minute cities. 😱

Finally sitting outside and getting some sunshine. The weekend weather sucked. I didn't go outside except for errands and spent much of the weekend doing a deep clean of my house. It figures the weather is nice after work on a weekday instead. Better late than never.

Be me. Be too tired after work to clean the dining room. Have the excuse that it's too hard, too time consuming. Come home and feel stressed every time you go in there, for weeks. Have a holiday weekend where you want to sit in there as a family for dinner. Start cleaning. It takes twenty minutes.

Had to explain to a friend who was making themselves small to not burden me that I am a firm believer of putting my "oxygen mask" on first. If you're on an aircraft that's part of the safety instructions. Put your mask on and then assist others. You're no help to others if you're unconscious.

Not to be a spoiled but sharing a bathroom at work with about a dozen male contractors has worn on me. I give in. Guys do too much pooping! I support pooping on company time as much as anyone but this is too many people. 😂 I moved my bathroom use to an empty apartment.
