There recently seems to have been a big, BIG push to get legitimate artists on board with this expensive, unprofitable tech. And they're going for it, which immediately delegitimises them. That's how it works.

Some people are downplaying this as "just using it for storyboards" I don't know how to break it to you, but we already have a means to make those, its called storyboard artists and you pay them a wage. I cannot stomach how little some artists will think of other artists and their livelihoods.
