tl,dr; Scientists no longer allowed to use federal funding to publish, attend meetings, or talk to the public. They cannot collaborate internationally. Grants can be cancelled for any reason, at any time, political appointees have a final say over what gets funded, and who gets funded.

Braid borders also were popular in childrenswear. In 1863, Peterson’s magazine describes red braid on piqué as a popular choice for dresses of ‘quite young children’, boys as well as girls. A similar shape to our dress is worn with a blouse in the plate below from 1866 ‘Mode Illustrée’.

MIT (endowment: $27B) shuttering three of its four main libraries is one of those news items that just knocks you off balance, auguring, as it does, profound and permanent changes to the entire institutional apparatus of higher education in this country.

It's ironic that working with VHS and cassette tapes is infinitely easier than DVDs and the majority of early digital media. Physical degradation and environmental conditions notwithstanding, it's far easier to get a quality scan of a VHS tape than it is to deal with a burned DVD or CD from 2002.

The short answer is the new owners stopped paying us for our work so we quit and started
@ggtribune.com
because we love making funny stuff together, and if we aren’t getting paid we may as well not get paid writing for our own website. We are paying our own writers though, unlike Sumerian.

Van Gogh spent a lot of time in Arles, France. There's a restaurant that used to be a hotel where Van Gogh stayed and in a letter he wrote that the food was bad and they overcharged him for wine. Directly next door, sharing a wall, is this Dragonball-themed barbershop.
