Darkly funny that we’re watching the president die in real time and when he inevitably dies, millions of people will swiftly conclude the visibly decaying 80 year-old was killed by a woke CIA Judeo-transgender conspiracy to shrink video game boobs and make Star Wars worse.

Reversing Harrell cuts, Parks is now installing the remaining Lake Washington Blvd safety compromise plan
From Seattle Parks. Last summer, Mayor Bruce Harrell's office abruptly cancelled phase 3 of the Lake Washington Boulevard safety project, which included additional speed humps to calm traffic along the park boulevard as well as redesigns of several intersections to improve crosswalk safety for people accessing the lakefront. They even tried to hide the cuts, though that gambit did not work because safety advocates and Seattle Bike Blog were paying attention. Not long after, a hit-and-run driver struck someone biking home from a camping trip on a section where safety improvements had been canceled.

No, it's not too much to ask at all. In fact, waaaaaaay back when I was in Journalism school, they taught us that we were to be public arbiters of fact. Not give our opinions, but tell people what's true and what isn't. Seems that's not a thing any longer.

Absolute banger from

today. Given the fines Musk would have been subject to, it was cheaper for him to buy the government (to the record-breaking tune of $290 million) than face the law. So much corruption.

When we took office, NYC had a $12B deficit. Today it’s zero. And we didn’t close that gap on the backs of working people. We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets, & public housing. Call it Pothole Politics or Democratic Socialism: We are government that delivers for the people.

I know we keep saying it over and over again but Trump is an explicitly unique individual in American history because the media by and large abjectly refuses to cover him the way they would any other human being who has ever lived. Any other human being and this would be a gross outburst.

Dems are still favored to win the House. But we can't ignore or downplay how Republicans essentially won 10 seats IN A WEEK through gerrymandering, lawsuits, and judicial rulings. This isn't the kind of democracy we should be comfortable with.
