Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones. Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

This is a really important point, and part of what MN has been demanding - we don't just want ICE OUT, we want ICE STOPPED - we shouldn't have been terrorized like this, and nobody else should either. Chicago, Portland, and LA demanded the same, but ICE just moved on - and came to MN. NO MORE.

Just found out through a personal friend that Crooked Pint Ale House on Washington is Pro-🧊. The manager/owner defended their decision to serve ICE agents and said something about not discriminating against them.

I live in Minnesota and I care about mental health. Here's what's happening now because of ICE: - Lots of people who never struggled with depression and anxiety disorders are now. - People already dealing with severe mental illness are at much higher risk of suicide or disappearing from care.

Two things: 1. Okay you’re sad. Lots of people are sad. The families of the disappeared are, I’ll wager, more sad. But what will you dooooooooooooooo? 2. Liam is great. We all love Liam. Liam is a powerful symbol. He’s also just one person. This whole fucking thing is about MUCH MORE than Liam.

If you are outside of Minnesota, please continue to pay attention. Our communities are still under siege despite the press conferences.
