when i was biking in cedar riverside tonight, a somali guy asked me if ICE was coming back, and thanked me for still looking out. i was out taking photos, not patrolling specifically, but a good reminder that we must still continue to be vigilant for our immigrant neighbors, this work still matters

They brutalized this man three blocks from our place, just two blocks from South High before the start of the school day. They left his hat on the ground and the smashed up car on the street. My neighbors are trying to locate his people and get his car towed somewhere safe. ICE is still here.

This morning, a neighbor was kidnapped by ICE in the Corcoran neighborhood. The individual had his window broken into, and he was snatched from his car. It would be great to get more observers out today and, moving forward, it would help to be more engaged in your local areas from 6AM-8AM. 1/

I am glad that the council committee recommended denial of this proposal that was not reflective of the city commissioned survey. A final vote on this denial will take place next week at full council. We are committed to working together to ensure that the future of the Peoples’ Way is successful.
