Today ICE caused a multi-vehicle crash in St Paul so bad that someone was sent to the hospital. This is the opposite of keeping us safe. They have been active around NE today & we know school dismissal is always a peak time for them so please get out if you can & help keep our community safe.

ICE is having a devastating impact on our small businesses here in Minneapolis. Businesses are having to close because of the terror ICE is inflicting on our community. Now is the time to reach out to your federal representative to let them know you don’t support funding DHS.

We’re never going to turn our backs on our neighbors and stop exercising our constitutional rights. No amount of meetings with Tom Homan or anyone in the Trump administration will change our community’s resolve. This only ends when every DHS agent leaves and they no longer exist to terrorize us.

Another classic post-Homan day where around school dismissal time we get a flurry of ICE vehicles all across our neighborhoods. Today one vehicle led an observer to their own home and pointed at it. This is a sick game to them, but we won’t be intimidated and we won’t stop until DHS is abolished.

I think we need to post more of our wins vs ICE, at least I do. Northside RR successfully got a few abductions deterred this morning. We also have seen an uptick in folks joining doing stationary observation in the last week since we started doing that.

It’s been another very active day today in Northeast with someone being abducted on St Anthony Parkway & Central. Regardless of what the federal government says, it’s still very active with the same illegal tactics being used by ICE. We still need everyone out protecting our neighbors.

Everywhere they went, so many community members exercised their right to whistle and record and they would drive off. Nothings changing on the ground here in Minneapolis and we won’t let up until every single agent leaves our City.

There was so much ICE activity today. A group of agents spent the whole morning inside Jimmy’s Bar and then ended up driving erratically all throughout the Holland & Como neighborhoods, eventually trying to park at the 2nd precinct police station.

ICE is very active right now including indiscriminately stopping people on 37th & Central. There’s also ICE vehicles active in Holland, Como, and St Anthony East neighborhoods all at the same time as of 12 PM here on Saturday. Spend your weekend outside and help protect your neighbors.

I know who needs to hear this… but it’s ok to say out loud to someone you’ve just met in the last couple months… “hey, you want to be friends after all this?” Be brave. Drop your Minnesota guard. New friends are good, especially if forged in fire and ice.

We’ve seen lots of reports of legal observers being arrested in North Minneapolis, South Minneapolis, and Eden Prairie. Exercising your first amendment right to observe is not a crime. This is exactly why congress can’t give another penny to DHS.

Tonight at 8:30 PM our constituent Ricky was pepper sprayed by ICE on 18th & Polk. 2 agents parked their car, got out and approached observers, started pepper spraying Ricky on public property, and then drove away and left. Nothing is changing on the ground in Minnesota. ICE must be abolished.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Whether it’s community demanding Target stop allowing ICE to use their property, making whistle kits at Sociable, or grandparents volunteering to drive to Texas to bring people back home there’s so many ways people continue to show up for our community.

Replace your trips at Target and go to Little India, Super Mercado Latino, Holyland, Eastside Co-op and many other actual community stores instead.

Hundreds of community members showed up to Target today to tell them to stop being a safe haven for ICE. We’ve seen so many community members taken from Target & the Quarry as they allow ICE to use their parking lot.
