Had a celebration for our Edison graduate yesterday and dang, are we lucky to live in a community with such awesome people. Teachers who truly show up for kids, neighbors who love and look out for each other, kind, fantastic friends and family (kids and adults!). Grateful for Edison, Mpls and MN.

We are still under attack. There may be fewer agents in town, but ICE is still very much in action in the Cities and suburbs.

ICE is very active right now including indiscriminately stopping people on 37th & Central. There’s also ICE vehicles active in Holland, Como, and St Anthony East neighborhoods all at the same time as of 12 PM here on Saturday. Spend your weekend outside and help protect your neighbors.

Good things today: patient, kind, and fun family in our home, kids who literally do backflips for us, other kids who want to play games with us, pies, songs, FaceTime, and hugging like you mean it. It wasn’t long ago that we weren’t able to do any of these things together. I’ll take it when I can.

My folks live on a farm and are retired. My mom recently got an e-bike. She rode into town today to play cards with friends and called me when she got home. I can’t remember hearing her as genuinely happy as she was today. Blue sky, sun, and a bike ride. Magic.
