As today's leaders deter us from spending time on anything that won't render monetary benefit (uni humanities, social services, libraries), they ignore that what sustains us is more than a paycheck. Watch people's faces as they walk past post boxes decorated with crochet scenes & you understand.

The mindshift we call work-life-balance is broadly rejected by so many employers who 'feel' against all research, facts, statistics, & trials that their workforce will only perform well/best when watched, forced, & pressured. They ignore the measurable, added benefit/profit of a job done with joy.

It seems we don't learn well from other people's experience (historic or now). Much like children being told not to touch a hot stove, we do. We need our own experiences to (fully) feel & appreciate. Other people's lessons aren't felt, they're facts, & don't reach our hearts. #GoodMorning, everyone
