Mpls Ward 1 - this man does not even live here and is running here but if that's not disqualifying enough, hopefully this is. He is complying in advance at the local level (last line of defense) before even being elected.

If you didn’t have enough reason not to vote Brian Strahan (if *not living in the ward he’s running to represent* isn’t enough of a reason), here’s a great big one.

This was the question I submitted to the forum that didn’t get asked: “Did you vote in the SD60 special election in January? If so, from what Ward did you vote?” The answer for Brian Strahan is that he voted in Ward 3, just as he has since at least 2017.

Brian Strahan does not want to stand up to Trump in support of immigrants because he thinks it will make Trump more mad and hurt us. Don’t support someone who is already capitulating to Fascism.

Brian Strahan just said he’s against any Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Not like against it on just a specific road or specific route, he’s against it as a concept.

In Brian Strahan’s opening statement he says the City Council has lost its way so much that council members can move out of the state and still serve. Meanwhile he has spent his whole campaign lying about his residency. The definition of hypocrisy.

Last night there was a fire at a duplex in our Ward where someone tragically died. This is now the 3rd fire near Central Ave in September alone. I will be having a community meeting with the Fire department on October 8th at 6 PM, location TBD. More details will be shared soon.

I’ll personally never forget Brian Strahan responding to a question about how can we protect reproductive rights at the city level with a big fat UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH at the Ward convention, hope we get a repeat performance.

We have *residency* requirements for anyone running for elected office. It’s not merely enough to own property in a district, you must actually *reside* in that district. Some things need to be non-ideological, and only supporting candidates who actually live in their district must be one of them.

I’ve been getting her emails even though I never signed up and don’t live in Ward 12. What strikes me every time I read them is that she lists her campaign address as her Northside address. This email is from 9/12, after she filed an *affidavit* of candidacy that she lives W12

all these candidates saw how the media allowed mickey moore to get away with this in 2021 because they never covered his residency issue and now candidates like brian strahan are doing it completely out in the open we need proactive not REACTIVE journalism covering politics

So since I posted this I’ve learned even more. Turns out on August 19th, Brian bought another duplex in Logan Park. This is even funnier because it proves everything he said during the caucus process was a lie.

In the Strib voter guide Brian Strahan says his neighborhood is Logan Park. Close, but not quite. His Ward 3 home where he has voted from as recently as January of this year is Sheridan neighborhood. The duplex his wife owns in Ward 1 is Windom Park. Lying so much he can’t get his story straight.
