The numbers do speak for themselves. In fact, our neighbors know this because they feel it on the ground. They expect us to do more. How about you stop telling us behind closed doors that we shouldn’t fund immigrant legal assistance, rental assistance, or support for our small businesses!

As Sheriff she has actively made the Hennepin County Government center a less safe place by helping ICE abduct people. This will have a long lasting impact in making immigrants less likely to feel safe reporting any crimes that happen to them and less likely to show up to court for any reason.

UPDATE: He was just released. This shows that just indiscriminately took someone because they were Latino. Their illegal tactics continue so we still need neighbors to patrol, observe, and support our immigrant community.

An 18 year old was taken today in the Hennepin County Government Center. Any leader thinking collaborating with ICE will be good and help end this surge is forgetting that no one in our community is expendable.

The city has spent ~$5M above budget in the past month to deal with the occupation, with roughly $130k per day going to MPD overtime. So when mod CMs/the mayor tell you that we can’t afford rent relief, they’re telling you that they prefer to spend your tax dollars on this instead.

The vote was to delay the rental assistance vote until March 19, 2026. I am glad that the motion failed 7-6. WE NEED RENT ASSISTANCE NOW.

Council Members Warren, Shaffer, Whiting, Rainville, Vetaw, Palmisano just voted to try and delay the Council from even *considering* approving rental assistance for people until March 19th. Apparently they don’t see the urgency of this moment. Thankfully that motion failed 6-7.

ICE has been back at it with their illegal activity today. Abducting multiple neighbors in the Ward, physically assaulting observers, coming into businesses threatening that they will be back to arrest people for no reason. If they come back today, they’re going to have to go through me first.

She’s been following the school board and been a parent advocate since at least 2010. She has more knowledge and historical prospective about MPS than even current board members and this video shows she’s actually running a real campaign, something no one does anymore. Easy choice.
