The media is moving on, but ICE assaults haven't stopped in Minnesota at all. Resistance by everyday people hasn't lessened either. Bars and churches across Minneapolis have collection points like this for those in need, as if we're the home front in WW2. Except the front is our own neighborhoods.

Reasons to hope and persist, from where I sit: For every neighbor they take, we protect two. For every observer they arrest, there are a dozen more who volunteer. Another classic post-Homan day where around school dismissal time we get a flurry of ICE vehicles all across our neighborhoods. Today one vehicle led an observer to their own home and pointed at it. This is a sick game to them, but we won’t be intimidated and we won’t stop until DHS is abolished.

We know an eviction moratorium themselves is legally sound. The State beat all the legal challenges to the COVID-era moratorium. The question is whether a Minnesota court would find that the ICE occupation of our state is a "civil disturbance." I think we can get there.
