It's like when the largest mass protest movement of the century erupted across the entire country in 2020 and instead of reporting it as an inspiring surge of people rising up in the name of justice, corporate media treated it as an unwelcome disruption that had to be stopped as soon as possible.

"ICE invaded MN & locals are banding together to disrupt it on a massive scale" is a story that could show regular ppl we have the power to fight back against systems that want us to keep our heads down, to keep working no matter what. And that's why they're not telling it that way on the "news"

National, corporate media is intentionally minimizing how widespread the anti-ICE effort by people who just live in MN and want their normal lives back actually is. Because that might give people in other places ideas that aren't good for the corporate power structure that controls the news.

National news isn't making this story about how a huge portion of normal Minnesotans have stopped living day to day life as normal to participate in resistance against ICE occupation, they're basically just pretending like it's "ICE is there, and people are protesting" without any larger context.

National media is actively suppressing the real story of what's happening in MN by making their entire "narrative" about "protesters clash with ICE" like each time it happens is an isolated occurrence and not part of a massive and well-organized resistance being planned and led by regular people.
