Since he's returned to office Trump has attacked the Smithsonian as "out of control" where everything discussed "is how horrible our country is, how bad slavery was." Lonnie Bunch has been the person who has put himself between Trump and the Smithsonian. This is the story of his work to protect it.

Wanna know something cool? This scroll of the Book of Esther was scribed by a 14 year-old named Luna Ambron in 1767 in Rome-- and it's one of the very few pieces of the sacred scribal arts that we *know* to have been scribed by a girl/woman before the 21st c. (Scribes don't sign their work sooo.)
