Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

The most basic argument I can give you for ditching Spotify for *anything* is Spotify, uniquely, pays *nothing* for much of the music on the platform. Is there *any* improvement in paying for Spotify over pirating? You're a paper-thin moral slice away from buying music from a bootlegger. Why do it?

I could try to make moral arguments about spending your Spotify fee on one Bandcamp album a month. But let's go simpler. It is *so easy* to just switch from Spotify to Tidal, Apple, or Qobuz! You won't barely notice the difference! You can move your playlists! The audio quality is better!
