Does anyone have any recommendations for podcasts about fashion, specifically the history thereof and the craft behind clothing. Not Articles of Interest, I’m on that, but something similar?

OK, it makes no more sense to give Odysseus an American or a British accent BUT you have to remember that the RADA voice that Patrick Stewart's lot have is a made up accent for doing Shakespeare in. It's vaguely posh, but its main connotation is "the olden days". So it does work a bit better.

Abolish the voter ID thing, it's needless, it's suppression, and as ewa points out up her thread, that suppression disproportionately affects those of working age.

What's your "He actually broke his toe here" thing? The factoid you can't help but share whenever it comes up. For me, it's how the punk on the bus in Star Trek IV actually wrote and recorded the song that he's playing because he was annoyed the original song they had didn't sound punk at all.

As a gigantic forever Jilly Cooper fan I am just so happy that the telly adaptation is a) so GOOD and b) so FUUUUUCKING close to the source material. They've found a way to make an 80s Tory bonkbuster hold up exceptionally well while barely changing a thing.
