it's telling that almost no one who supported CM rivera's tree bills (93 & 102) actually expressed support for housing as well but there's another thing i want to point out with amendment 102. this is so poorly written it's going to have severe unintended (or perhaps intended) consequences.

At the community feedback session half way through implementation, someone asked the city's rep: "What's the purpose of this meeting? Is it just so you have an excuse to cancel the rest of the project?" The rep hemmed and hawed and ultimately said "no".

Amendment 102 sounds reasonable at first, but Matt points out the severe negative impacts it will have on housing projects. I’m deeply concerned that this will be like design review but worse, with significant delays, increasing costs and subjective standards that no one can predict.
