The Crosslake Connection is OPEN!

Happy Crosslake Connection Day! The Eastside Transit Map and Move Redmond Station Access Maps have been updated for the Link 2 Line connecting across Lake Washington today and bus changes effective later this fall. Enjoy the ride, the views and get ready for access to more places, more frequently!

We are minutes away from the first revenue service light rail train crossing a floating bridge.

Ahead of the most important Link extension opening yet, @mayorofseattle.bsky.social, @kccclaudia.bsky.social, and many neighbors spent the morning dodging cars on the I-90 ramps this morning. We can and must build a safer environment for everyone, especially next to train stations.

1/3 I heard that the freeway ramp crossings around the Judkins Park light rail station (opening this Saturday) finally had the flashing beacons installed, so I checked it out along with stuff around the Rainier Ave entrance to the station. Can’t wait for Saturday!

Seattle needs more load/unload on-street parking zones. These can be used for deliveries, food pick up, school drop pick up/drop off, and more. Without adequate zones, drivers get creative and inconvenience everyone else going about their day.
