We organize and mobilize people to make every neighborhood a great place to walk, bike, and live.
Rainier Ave has some of Seattle’s highest crash and speeding rates and local youth are organizing about it. The Rainier Youth Committee is hosting a “Shaping Our Streets” listening session this Saturday on transit reliability and pedestrian safety. Love seeing young people lead on safer streets.

This balances multiple needs while prioritizing what works best for the most people." ‼️Honestly, a sea change for WSDOT. Kudos to Anna and others

Yay, glad to see this finally announced publicly! The Burke Gilman is our state’s most popular trail and it should be comfortable, safe, and accessible for all. If it were a highway we would already have widened it. The design next to UW Medical should be the standard (with the addition of lighting)
