Gotta love almost getting run over by someone turning left and not paying attention at all because they were clearly on their phone. Thankfully, I was paying attention and moved out of the way.

One interesting thing with Anthropic taking space in Dexter Yard is they could eventually create a mini campus and finally get Mercer Blocks built?!

I'll be the first to admit that we're not in a great spot and have to do better, but I'm still pretty optimistic that we can bring light rail all the way to Ballard in the next 13 years.

I do genuinely appreciate Ryan’s rationalism here amidst all the other noise.

If you’re running a survey like this then I don’t think you “understand that we need more housing.”

FWIW… rest of the city looking really good. Maybe that’s the compromise? Don’t love that tbh.

Really struggling with understanding the opposition to car free Lake Washington blvd on weekends? I’m pretty sure every home and parking lot is still accessible to cars… and all the people who have waterfront property now have a much quieter street since cars are so loud! Can someone help explain?

Really frustrating to see the situation at 12th and Jackson… hard to imagine it ever getting better if we continue with our current appeasement approach. ☹️

The Wilson administration and the Seattle City Council are starting to get on the same page around what it means to go much bigger in the next phase of the city's growth plan. Despite 'faster' right in the name, the process could stretch into 2028. Story:

My criticism here is they really should have an attendant like they do in Europe. Much more sustainable long term.
