Loved SUPERGIRL! Really entertaining space opera revenge quest story that really fleshes out Kara's character. David Krumholz is a surprisingly compelling space pirate. Momoa's Lobo was fun. Great to see in IMAX!

They should make some movies with positive representations of liminal spaces. Like when you work at a convenience store and you can go in the walk in behind the drinks. You can smoke back there and steal sodas. Why don't they show that on the movies

Napoleon Bonaparte made his servants break in his shoes before he wore them. His entire wardrobe was two different outfits repeated. When he arrived at St Helena he had a meltdown about the house smelling like paint. His stare was so unnerving other heads of state believed it was magical.

Fun way of saying “we won’t find you unless you’re already making your own stuff because we don’t have to be economically interested” which actively kinda sucks

Supergirl: Why the fuck are critics being a bunch of pricks about this movie? It's fine. It's not the greatest movie ever made, but it's a good time. At its heart it's a Kurosawa flick, and it pulls it off pretty well. I can't even think of any real nitpicks, either.
