It's difficult to see how the government will 'make sure' everyone who is ill and disabled will 'benefit' from work. Our concern is that they are not looking at the most obvious root causes, e.g. #LongCovid, and they are in denial about people's capacity, but that they will use punitive measures.

Invariably when you try and discuss Long Covid with people - they proudly proclaim they don’t know anyone with Long Covid. Then they go on to tell you about their new onset allergies, fatigue, loss of taste & smell, alcohol intolerance etc. You know someone with Long Covid. It might even be you.

The mind fuckery of long Covid is awful. Am I tired because: poor sleep? Perimenopause? Not enough protein? Did too much yesterday? A germ tipped off long Covid and symptoms return? No idea, but I got unplugged around noon for the day. Doctor says "we still don't know enough" and is an expert.
