There are no “legitimate concerns” about trans people. There aren’t any about women’s safety or fairness in sports or kids being kids or fucking toilets. If there were you’d have heard of them before 2018. I am a cis white woman so you have to listen to me or I’ll cry.

What a strange week. I came out as a trans woman, visited the UK, and watched the EHRC publish a Code of Practice seemingly designed to push people like me out of public life. And yet: I have received so much warmth from friends and strangers alike.

IMHO possibly the most interesting question in finance and economics right now is the extent to which future AI dominance can retain any monopoly characteristics. People assume because it's "Silicon Valley" that those explosive network effects will necessarily pertain. They really might not... 1/
